How do I receive an estimate? It's easy! Just contact The Garage Resource and we will schedule an appointment whenever it is convenient for you. At that time we will discuss your ideas, needs and requirement. Then we'll look at your property, take measurements and see what it will take to build your garage. We'll spend time with you and present you with a complete list of features and options.

Do you give free estimates ? Yes! We come to you for no charge and no obligation.

What about a building permit? The Garage Resource will obtain your building permit. We will be your general contractor and assume that responsibility and liability so you don't have to. We will also coordinate your inspections. You can relax, knowing it's taken care of.

I already have a garage. Can you remove it? Yes! We will raze and dispose of an existing garage as well as any existing concrete. We will discuss this during your initial estimate meeting.

How long does it take to build my garage? After we receive your building permit, and depending on weather conditions, your garage should be ready to go inside of a month.

Can I get an estimate or prices over the phone? No - we have found that it would be a disservice to you. Each garage project is unique and we customize our work to your requirements. Remember that estimates are free, and we will work with you every step of the way.

What else do I need to know? We have the expertise in the Central Florida area to make sure your garage project goes smoothly from start to finish. For example, did you know that in some Central Florida municipalities, a detached garage can be closer to your property line (less setback) than an attached one? This saves space and gives you more useable area. We'll look at your existing house/garage needs. You can ask us any question and we'll find a solution to make sure you are satisfied.

What is the process, in simple terms, from start to finish?
1. Contact us either by phone or by email.
2. We will promptly set up an appointment to come see you and discuss your needs.
3. We will work up a free estimate complete with our recommendations and upon your approval, we sign an agreement and collect a small deposit.
4. As we have our own in house Design Team we will provide preliminary drawings of your new garage for your approval.
5. Upon your sign off on the design, we go to work with the blueprints and engineering. During this process we will be preparing your site and pulling the permit.
6. Barring any unforeseen hitches or inclement weather, once we start construction your garage will be up and ready for your use inside of a month, depending, of course, on size and complexity.
